Sleeper edging design

Using sleepers for garden edging is practical and looks great.
Divide up your vege garden with garden sleepers by creating separate beds for different vegetables. They are versatile so can fit in any sized garden you may have, for a range of shapes and sizes. Not only are they functional - they also bring charm to your garden and look fantastic.
Using either macrocarpa or hardwood sleepers is a great idea to create a garden border with minimal work -and you don’t even need many tools.
By drilling a couple of holes in the underside of the sleeper you can hammer in reinforcing rods approx. 200mm long with an 90 degree angle on the ends. Embed these in a footing of concrete and check with a level to ensure they are sitting straight, then leave for 12 hours to set.
