We've become aware of a fraudulent email campaign claiming that recipients have won a prize from Mitre 10 New Zealand. These fraudulent emails ask recipients to enter credit card details to pay for delivery of the prize.
We do love to run giveaways for our customers, but this one isn't us. There’s a few ways you can make sure you’re dealing with us and not someone pretending to be us.
Winner notification emails will always come from a @mitre10.co.nz email address; example: [email protected] is NOT a legitimate @mitre10.co.nz email address.
We will never need you to enter credit card or private details to confirm your identity or pay for delivery of a prize.
We will only ever ask you to reply to or message us in order to sort out your prize.
We will never ask you to click to a web page that isn’t at mitre10.co.nz.
