Key terms and conditions:

1. Spend $50 or more in a single transaction on garden products instore at Mitre 10 Whangaparaoa during the promotional period and complete an in-store entry form to receive an entry into the prize draw.
2. Valid on purchases made between 7am 24 Oct - 7pm 26 Oct 2026
3. Entries close at 7:00pm, 26 October 2026.
4. One entry per qualifying transaction
5. Winner drawn on 27 October 2026.
6. Prize draw will take place on 27 Oct 2026.
7. Entries are deemed received at the time of receipt by the Promoter. Records of the Promoter are final and conclusive as the time of receipt.
8. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries are invalid.
9. Prize: 1 x Garden Prize Pack valued at RRP $500.
10. This Promotion is only open to “Eligible Entrants”, being individuals who:
    1. are residents of New Zealand aged 18 years or older
    2. are not employees of a Mitre 10 Store, the Promoter, or a spouse, defacto partner, parent, child or sibling (whether natural or by adoption) of such employee.
    3. are not professionally connected with the Promotion
11. Prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.
12. Winner will be contacted using the details provided on the entry form.

PRIZES:

1. All customers who spend $50 or more in the Garden Department in a single transaction during the promotional period will be eligible to enter the draw to win a $500 Garden Prize Pack.
2. There is ONE (1) Prizes to be won.
3. Prize handover will take place at Mitre 10 Whangaparaoa. The handover is complete when the Prize is in the Winner’s possession.
4. The Winner agrees to make themselves available for reasonable promotional and publicity purposes without further compensation.
5. The Prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.

PRIZE DRAW:

1. “Winner” is defined as the person whose name is drawn in the Prize Draw held on 27 October 2026 (“Prize Draw”) or on 2 November 2026 (“Unclaimed Prize Draw”).
2. The Winner will be drawn by the Promoter by random draw from all valid entries. A Winner can only win one (1) Prize.
3. The Winner will be notified by telephone on the phone number submitted with their entry within two (2) days of the Prize Draw. The Winner must respond by 7pm on 28 November 2026 or the prize will be forfeited and another Winner drawn.
4. If any Prize remains unclaimed by 2 November 2026, the Promoter may conduct an unclaimed prize draw on 3 November 2026 in order to award any unclaimed Prizes (“Unclaimed Prize Draw”). The new Winner will be telephoned on the phone number submitted with their entry within two (2) days of the Unclaimed Prize Draw. The new Winner will be subject to the same terms and conditions of this competition. The Promoter reserves the right to forfeit any prize if said unclaimed prize has not been claimed by 7pm on 6 November 2026.
5. The Promoter is not responsible for any notification that is misdirected, lost or damaged, or if the Winner cannot be contacted due to incorrect details being provided in the entry form.

PERSONAL INFORMATION:

1. The Promoter collects and uses personal information in order to conduct the Promotion. The Promoter will disclose this information to third parties only for the purpose of this Promotion, and otherwise only in accordance with its Privacy Policy (mitre10.co.nz/privacy).
2. By accepting a Prize, the Winner agrees that the Promoter may use the Winner’s name, town/city and photograph for publicity purposes relating to this promotion, including on packaging, or in public relations and marketing material, in any form of media, without payment or any other compensation.

FURTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:

1. By entering this Promotion you accept these terms as amended from time to time.
2. This Promotion is only open to “Eligible Entrants”, being individuals who: (i) are residents of New Zealand aged 18 years or older; and (ii) are not employees of a Mitre 10 Store, the Promoter, or a spouse, defacto partner, parent, child or sibling (whether natural or by adoption) of such employee; and (iii) are not professionally connected with the Promotion.
3. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity and eligibility of entries and to disqualify any entry that is not in accordance with these terms.
4. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
5. The Promoter’s decision on any matter is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
6. Prior to receiving the Prize and being declared a Winner, the entrant may be required to show proof of identity and to sign a declaration of eligibility and participation agreement that accepts the terms relating to the use and enjoyment of the Prize and releasing the Promoter and related parties from any and all liability in connection with the Promotion and/or the Prize.
7. All other expenses incurred with any part of the Prize are the responsibility of the Winner.
8. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter and the Prize Sponsor (including their officers, directors, shareholders, employees, advisors, assignees, agents, licensees, representatives, advertising and promotional agencies) exclude all liability for any personal injury or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity), whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion or the Prize.
9. The Promoter is not responsible for any third-party acts or omissions.
10. The Promoter reserves the right to suspend or cancel the promotion and to amend these terms at any time.
11. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize, or any part of the Prize, with a prize of equal or greater value should any component become unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter's control.
