Having a well-insulated home is the cornerstone of a warm, dry, healthy home; keeping the heat in and the cold out, saving money on energy bills, and keeping the household healthier and more comfortable in all seasons.

A lot of Kiwi houses, particularly the older ones, aren’t well-insulated. More than a third of home heating could be disappearing through the ceiling, and as much as 24% of heat loss can occur through the walls. And, as of 1 July 2019, all rental properties must have underfloor and ceiling insulation.
