Mitre 10 Wainuiomata – Grand Opening $2,500 Gift Card Competition Terms & Conditions

HOW TO ENTER:

1. Spend $20 or more on any product instore at Mitre 10 Wainuiomata during the Promotion Period, follow the entry requirements below, and go in the draw to win a Prize.
2. To enter complete the entry form online at mitre10.co.nz/wainuiomata, where you must enter your full name, phone number, email address, contact number and the unique code on your purchase receipt.
3. One (1) unique code will be given for each transaction of $20 or more. There are no restrictions as to the number of entries you may have to this promotion, however each unique code provides one (1) entry. If the unique code is duplicated or incorrectly entered, your entry will be deemed to be invalid.
4. Purchases made on account, including any Smartmate or trade account are excluded.
5. The promotion commences at 7am on 10th May 2025 and closes at 7pm on 31st May 2025 ("Promotion Period"). Entries are strictly valid on purchases between these dates. You have until 12:01pm on the 3rd June 2025 to complete your entries at mitre10.co.nz/wainuiomata
6. Entries are deemed received at the time of receipt by the Promoter. Records of the Promoter are final and conclusive as to time of receipt.
7. Incomplete, indecipherable, or illegible entries are invalid.
8. Retain your receipt as proof of purchase to verify your entry. Receipts used for entry into the competition are void if stolen, forged, mutilated, or tampered with.

PRIZE:

1. All entrants go in the draw to win 1 of 5 $500 Mitre 10 Gift Cards (“Prize”).

3. Prizes will be made available for collection from Mitre 10 Wainuiomata.

PRIZE DRAW:

1. “Winner” is defined as the person whose draw entry number is selected in the Prize Draw held on 4 June 2025 (“Prize Draw”) or on [date] (“Unclaimed Prize Draw”).
2. The Winners will be drawn by random draw from all valid entries. The first five valid entries drawn will win the Prize. A Winner can only win one Prize. If the same person is drawn for more than one Prize, the second or subsequent Prize will be redrawn.
3. The Winner will be notified by telephone on the phone number submitted with their entry form within five (5) days of the Prize Draw. The Winner must respond by [insert date] or the prize will be forfeited and another Winner drawn.
4. If the Prize remains unclaimed by [date], the Promoter may conduct an unclaimed prize draw on [date] in order to award the Prize (Unclaimed Prize Draw). The new Winner will be telephoned on the phone number submitted with their entry form within seven (7) days of the Unclaimed Prize Draw. The new Winner will be subject to the same terms and conditions of this competition. The Promoter reserves the right to forfeit any prize if said unclaimed prize has not been claimed by [date].
5. The Promoter is not responsible for any notification that is misdirected, lost, or damaged of if the Winner cannot be contacted due to incorrect details.
6. The Promoter reserve the right to change the draw mechanic, due to any circumstances at the time.

PERSONAL INFORMATION:

1. The Promoter collects and uses personal information in order to conduct the Promotion. The Promoter will disclose this information to third parties only for the purpose of this Promotion, and otherwise only in accordance with its Privacy Policy (mitre10.co.nz/privacy).
2. By accepting a Prize, the Winner agrees that the Promoter may use the Winner’s name, town/city and photograph for publicity purposes relating to this promotion, including on packaging, or in public relations and marketing material, in any form of media, without payment or any other compensation.

FURTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:

1. By entering this Promotion, you accept these terms as amended from time to time.
2. This Promotion is only open to “Eligible Entrants”, being individuals who: (i) are residents of New Zealand aged 18 years or older; and (ii) are not employees of a Mitre 10 Store, the promoter, or a spouse, de facto partner, parent, child, or sibling (whether natural or by adoption) of such employee; and (iii) are not professionally connected with the Promotion.
3. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity and eligibility of entries and to disqualify any entry that is not in accordance with these terms.
4. The Promoter’s decision on any matter is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
5. Prior to receiving the Prize and being declared a Winner, the entrant may be required to show proof of identity and to sign a declaration of eligibility and participation agreement that accepts the terms relating to the use and enjoyment of the Prize and releasing the Promoter and related parties from ALL liability in connection with the Promotion and/or the Prize.
6. All other expenses incurred with any part of the Prize are the responsibility of the Winner.
7. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, directors, shareholders, employees, advisors, assignees, agents, licensees, representatives, advertising and promotional agencies) and the Prize Sponsors exclude all liability for any personal injury or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity through a technical fault in the running of the promotion and any other loss of opportunity generally), whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion or the Prize.
8. The Promoter is not responsible for any third-party acts or omissions including but not limited to that of the Prize Sponsors.
9. The Promoter reserves the right to suspend or cancel the promotion and to amend these terms at any time.
