HOW TO ENTER: 

1. Spend $50 or more at either Mitre 10 MEGA Westgate or Henderson during 16 September to 19 October 2024, keep your receipts and be at Mitre 10 MEGA Westgate on Saturday, 19 October 2024 to register your entries.
2. There are no restrictions as to the number of entries you may have to this promotion, however each valid receipt must be over the value of $50 and purchased between 16 September to 19 October 2024 to receive an entry ticket into the draw (One receipt = One Entry Draw ticket). Entries are strictly valid on purchases between these dates.
3. If the receipt is duplicated, modified, or doesn’t meet the criteria, your entry will be deemed to be invalid.
4. Registrations for the draw will be on 19 October 2024 in-store at Mitre 10 MEGA Westgate. Registrations open at 8.30am and close at 12.30pm with the Prize Draw happening at 1pm. Entrants must be at Mitre 10 MEGA Westgate at the time of the Prize Draw to be eligible to claim the prize. It is a good idea to get your entry tickets in early to avoid the rush.
5. Purchases made on account, including any Smartmate or trade account are excluded.
6. Entries are deemed received at the time of receipt by the Promoter. Records of the Promoter are final and conclusive as to time of receipt.
7. Incomplete, indecipherable, or illegible entries are invalid. 
8. Retain your receipt as proof of purchase to verify your entry. Receipts used for entry into the competition are void if stolen, forged, mutilated, or tampered with.

1. All valid entries go in the draw to win the ‘BIG BACK YARD’ Birthday Package Giveaway with a combined value of over $10,000 (“Prize”).
2. The Prize does not include any other accessories than those specified.

4. The Prize handover will be arranged between the winner and management. The handover is complete when the Prize is in the Winner’s possession. All related liability of the Prize is then passed to the Winner. Neither the Promoter nor the relevant Prize Sponsors will have any responsibility regarding the Prize, including any injury, damage, or warranty once the handover is complete. 

PRIZE DRAW:

1. To have a chance to win you need to be in store at Mitre 10 MEGA Westgate on Saturday 19 October 2024 at 1pm. You will need to show your valid receipts in the Mitre 10 MEGA Westgate designated area on the morning of the 19 October 2024 by 12:30pm, then you will receive a numbered entry ticket for the draw – this will be your draw entry number. Please remember to keep your original purchase receipt/s. 
2. “Winner” is defined as the person whose draw entry number is selected in the Prize Draw held on Saturday 19 October 2024 at 1pm (“Prize Draw”). 
3. The Winner will be drawn by random draw from all entries that are at Mitre 10 MEGA Westgate on the Saturday 19 October 2024. The first valid entry drawn will win the Prize.  
4. If the Prize remains unclaimed within a reasonable time frame, the Promoter may conduct Unclaimed Prize Draws on 19 October 2024 in order to award the Prize. The new Winner will be subject to the same terms and conditions of this competition.
5. The Promoter is not responsible for any notification that is misdirected, lost, or damaged. 
6. The Promoter reserve the right to change the draw mechanic, due to any circumstances at the time.

PERSONAL INFORMATION:

1. The Promoter collects and uses personal information in order to conduct the Promotion. The Promoter will disclose this information to third parties only for the purpose of this Promotion, and otherwise only in accordance with its Privacy Policy (mitre10.co.nz/privacy). 
2. By accepting a Prize, the Winner agrees that the Promoter may use the Winner’s name, town/city and photograph for publicity purposes relating to this promotion, including on packaging, or in public relations and marketing material, in any form of media, without payment or any other compensation.

FURTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:

1. By entering this Promotion, you accept these terms as amended from time to time.
2. This Promotion is only open to “Eligible Entrants”, being individuals who: (i) are residents of New Zealand aged 18 years or older; and (ii) are not employees of a Mitre 10 Store or Mitre 10 Support Centre, the promoter, or a spouse, de facto partner, parent, child, or sibling (whether natural or by adoption) of such employee; and (iii) are not professionally connected with the Promotion.
3. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity and eligibility of entries and to disqualify any entry that is not in accordance with these terms. 
4. The Promoter’s decision on any matter is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
5. Prior to receiving the Prize and being declared a Winner, the entrant may be required to show proof of identity and to sign a declaration of eligibility and participation agreement that accepts the terms relating to the use and enjoyment of the Prize and releasing the Promoter and related parties from ALL liability in connection with the Promotion and/or the Prize.
6. All other expenses incurred with any part of the Prize are the responsibility of the Winner.
7. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, directors, shareholders, employees, advisors, assignees, agents, licensees, representatives, advertising and promotional agencies) and the Prize Sponsors exclude all liability for any personal injury or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity through a technical fault in the running of the promotion and any other loss of opportunity generally), whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion or the Prize.
8. The Promoter is not responsible for any third-party acts or omissions including but not limited to that of the Prize Sponsors.
9. The Promoter reserves the right to suspend or cancel the promotion and to amend these terms at any time.
