Mitre 10 Spring 2026 Giveaway Terms & Conditions

HOW TO ENTER:

1. Spend $20 or more on any product in one transaction from any Mitre 10 or Mitre 10 MEGA store or online via the Mitre 10 website and complete the online entry form at www.mitre10.co.nz/win10k where you must enter your full name, email address, contact number and unique code (located on your till receipt) to go in the draw to win a Prize.
2. One (1) unique code will be given for each transaction of $20 or more. Each unique code provides one (1) entry. If the unique code is duplicated or incorrectly entered, your entry will be deemed to be invalid.
3. Purchases made using Mitre 10 accounts, including any Smartmate or trade account are excluded.
4. Mitre 10 Club Members who have a valid Mitre 10 Club membership at the time of the promotion closing will receive two (2) entries for every valid unique code earned in accordance with clause 2. This means that each qualifying transaction will provide two (2) entries instead of one (1). The Mitre 10 Club membership must be scanned or linked to the purchase at the time of transaction to be eligible for double entries.
5. The promotion commences at 12.01 am on 1 October 2026 and closes at 11:59pm on 1 November 2026 ("Promotion Period"). Entries are strictly valid on purchases between these dates. You have until 11:59pm on 3 November 20256 to complete your entries at www.mitre10.co.nz/win10k
6. Entries are deemed received at the time of receipt by the Promoter. Records of the Promoter are final and conclusive as to time of receipt.
7. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries are invalid.
8. Retain your receipt as proof of purchase to verify your entry. Receipts used for entry into the competition are void if stolen, forged, mutilated or tampered with. Loss of receipt may result in ineligibility to claim a Prize.

PRIZES:

1. All entrants go in the draw to win a Prize, which is a $10,000 Mitre 10 Gift Card (“Prize”)
2. There are five (5) x Prizes to be won.
3. Prize handover will take place at the winner’s closest Mitre 10 store, or Mitre 10 MEGA store. The handover is complete when the Prize is in the Winner’s possession.
4. Winners agree to participate in a prize handover ceremony at the Winner’s closest Mitre 10 store, or Mitre 10 MEGA store as advised to the Winner by the Promoter and at a time agreeable by all parties.
5. Mitre 10 Gift Card terms apply to Gift Card prizes. These terms can be found at: www.mitre10.co.nz/gift-card-information.
6. Each Winner agrees to make themselves available for reasonable promotional and publicity purposes without further compensation.
7. Prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash.

PRIZE DRAW:

1. “Winner” is defined as the person whose name is drawn in the Prize Draw held on 6 November 2026 (“Prize Draw”) or on 16 November 2026 (“Unclaimed Prize Draw”).
2. Each Winner will be drawn by the Promoter by random draw from all valid entries. The first five valid entries drawn will win a Prize. A Winner can only win one Prize. If the same person is drawn for more than one Prize, the second or subsequent Prize will be redrawn.
3. Each Winner will be notified by telephone on the phone number submitted with their entry within five (5) days of the Prize Draw. The Winner must respond by 5pm on 13 November 2026 or the prize will be forfeited and another Winner drawn.
4. If any Prize remains unclaimed by 13 November 2026, the Promoter may conduct an unclaimed prize draw on 16 November 2026 in order to award any unclaimed Prizes (“Unclaimed Prize Draw”). The new Winner will be telephoned on the phone number submitted with their entry within five (5) days of the Unclaimed Prize Draw. The new Winner will be subject to the same terms and conditions of this competition. The Promoter reserves the right to forfeit any prize if said unclaimed prize has not been claimed by 5pm on 20 November 2026.
5. The Promoter is not responsible for any notification that is misdirected, lost or damaged, or if the Winner cannot be contacted due to incorrect details being provided in the entry form.

PERSONAL INFORMATION:

1. The Promoter collects and uses personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and otherwise in accordance with its Privacy Policy (mitre10.co.nz/privacy). The Promoter will disclose this information to third parties only for the purpose of this Promotion.
2. Each Winner agrees that the Promoter may use the Winner’s name, town/city and photograph for publicity purposes relating to this promotion, including on packaging, or in public relations and marketing material, in any form of media, without payment or any other compensation.

FURTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:

1. By entering this Promotion you accept these terms as amended from time to time.
2. This Promotion is only open to “Eligible Entrants”, being individuals who: (i) are residents of New Zealand aged 18 years or older; and (ii) are not employees of a Mitre 10 Store, the Promoter, or a spouse, defacto partner, parent, child or sibling (whether natural or by adoption) of such employee; and (iii) are not professionally connected with the Promotion.
3. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity and eligibility of entries and to disqualify any entry that is not in accordance with these terms.
4. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
5. The Promoter’s decision on any matter is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
6. Prior to receiving the Prize and being declared a Winner, the entrant may be required to show proof of identity and to sign a declaration of eligibility and participation agreement that accepts the terms relating to the use and enjoyment of the Prize and releasing the Promoter and related parties from any and all liability in connection with the Promotion and/or the Prize.
7. All other expenses incurred with any part of the Prize are the responsibility of the Winner.
8. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter and the Prize Sponsor (including their officers, directors, shareholders, employees, advisors, assignees, agents, licensees, representatives, advertising and promotional agencies) exclude all liability for any personal injury or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity), whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion or the Prize.
9. The Promoter is not responsible for any third-party acts or omissions.
10. The Promoter reserves the right to suspend or cancel the promotion and to amend these terms at any time.
