Clean Air Wood Fires at Mitre 10

Kent Clean Air wood fires are designed to meet New Zealand’s strict emissions and efficiency standards while delivering reliable, powerful home heating. Clean Air certified fires produce less than 1.5 grams of particulates per kilogram of dry wood burned and achieve a minimum efficiency of 65%, helping reduce environmental impact while maximising heat output.

Built tough for New Zealand conditions, Kent fireboxes are constructed from premium steel ranging from 3–5mm in the firebox with robust 6mm baffle plates to support efficient double combustion. Vermiculite brick insulation reflects heat back into the firebox for improved performance, while a durable high-temperature black finish and fire-rated safety glass ensure long-lasting reliability. The freestanding flue kits feature a triple-skin design with an inner flue and outer casings. The inner flue allows smoke to exit the fire efficiently, while the outer casings provide insulation and allow airflow between the layers to help regulate temperature during operation.
