Once you place your order, your plant is carefully selected and prepared for shipping by our in-store team. Each plant is packaged using protective cardboard and cushioning materials designed to:
We’ve tested our packaging to ensure your plant arrives safe, fresh, and healthy.
Your packaged plant is handed over to our trusted courier service for delivery. You’ll receive a tracking number so you can follow its journey right to your door.
When your plant arrives:
Currently, only the 15 selected indoor plants in our delivery range are available for online shipping. Other houseplants can still be purchased in-store.
Yes! You can enter a different shipping address at checkout to send a plant directly to a friend or family member. It’s a great option for birthdays, Mother’s Day, or just because.

Plant delivery is available to most residential addresses across New Zealand
Customers are encouraged to inspect the condition of plants upon receipt. If your plant arrives damaged or in poor condition due to courier mishandling, please return the plant to your local Mitre 10 store with proof of purchase and we’ll gladly replace the plant.
A flat-rate delivery fee of $8 applies per order to metro areas and $13.50 to rural areas, based on dispatch from the nearest store with stock. This fee will be confirmed during checkout.
Due to the perishable nature of live plants, we’re unable to accept change-of-mind returns. Please choose carefully when placing your order.
Online Availability
This delivery service is available for a curated selection of houseplants marked as being available for delivery. These houseplants are available for online purchase and are subject to stock availability.
Delivery Zones and Fulfilment
Orders will be fulfilled via the nearest Mitre 10 or Mitre 10 MEGA store to the recipient’s delivery address with stock available. Additional delivery fees may apply if the delivery address falls outside standard metro zones.
