Mitre 10 has been voted New Zealand’s Most Trusted Brand in the Home Improvement Stores category of the 2020 Reader’s Digest Trusted Brands Survey and 2nd Most Trusted Brand overall.
It is the tenth time New Zealand’s largest – and locally owned – home improvement and garden retailer has taken top honours in the highly competitive DIY category.
Placing second only to chocolate brand Whittakers and ahead of Resene in third place, Mitre 10 has leapt 10 places up the rankings since coming in 12th in 2019.
Mitre 10 Chief of Customer Marketing & Inspiration Jules Lloyd-Jones says the recognition illustrates the role the Mitre 10 brand plays in the lives of New Zealanders.
“We are delighted Kiwis have chosen us as the Most Trusted Home Improvement Brand again this year. We’re also pleased to see that our focus on delivering great value and exceptional service to our customers had seen us place in the top three Most Trusted Brands overall.
“Mitre 10 has been a household name in New Zealand for over 40 years. Our stores are locally owned, employ local people and make significant contributions to their local communities. Our customers choose to shop with Mitre 10 because they know we’re there for them with the right advice, value for money and the desire to help them get it done right, whatever the project.”
This is the 21st year the Reader’s Digest Trusted Brands Survey has taken place in New Zealand.
