Tino kino te pai (Well done!) to Brad Ward Able and Mark Vaughan from support centre who bravely leapt off Auckland's Sky Tower on Thursday 16 November.
They were participating in the annual Drop Your Boss event which raises funds for our partners, the Graeme Dingle Foundation.
They exceeded their fundraising targets of $1,000, and along with other ‘Droppers’ on the day, raised over $80,000 for young tamariki and building brighter futures.
The jump made for a wildly different afternoon for the pair whose roles at Mitre 10 are to avoid risk and be highly analytical! (Brad is Head of Digital Security and Risk, while Mark is Head of Customer Insights).
The Graeme Dingle Foundation is dedicated to improving the lives of New Zealand’s youth, running transformative programmes that build confidence, nurture resilience and develop core life skills to set them on a path to success.
Research shows that for every dollar invested in the Foundation, $7.80 is returned to the New Zealand economy through a reduction in the costs of crime, young people more likely to find better-paying employment, and a lower level of young people dependent on benefits.
We are super grateful to both Brad and Mark for going above and beyond, literally! They did a great job creating awareness of the event and raising funds.
A big thank you to those of you who donated.
