Project:  New sheltered saddling pens for Whakatu Riding for Disabled therapy horses

Helping Hand:  Mitre 10 MEGA Nelson

Mitre 10 MEGA Nelson were stoked to be able to help Whakatu Riding for Disabled, by building them new saddling pens with a roof, to keep their therapy horses comfortable.

The store teamed up with NMIT trainee ranger students to put in massive effort on this build, so that the horses no longer have to stand in the rain or blazing sun, and to keep their saddle and bridle gear dry.

Mitre 10 MEGA Nelson are also supplying materials for an office for the club that the Waimea MenzShed will kindly build.
