Mitre 10 MEGA Invercargill 20th Birthday Competition Terms and Conditions

HOW TO ENTER:

1. Spend $20 or more on any products instore or online from Mitre 10 MEGA Invercargill during the promotional period, enter online and go in the draw to win a Prize.
2. To enter visit www.mitre10.co.nz/invercargill20 and complete the online entry form, where you must enter your full name, email address, contact number and the unique code on your receipt.
3. One (1) unique code will be given for each transaction of $20 or more. There are no restrictions as to the number of entries you may have to this promotion, however each unique code provides one (1) entry. If the unique code is duplicated or incorrectly entered, your entry will be deemed to be invalid.
4. The promotion runs Saturday, 01 February 2025 to Friday, 28 February 2025 (“Promotional Period"). Entries are strictly valid on purchases between these dates. All entries will need to be submitted online by end of day Sunday, 2 March 2025.
5. Entries are deemed received at the time of receipt by the Promoter. Records of the Promoter are final and conclusive as to time of receipt.
6. Retain your receipt as proof of purchase to verify your entry. Receipts used for entry into the competition are void if stolen, forged, mutilated or tampered with.
7. Competition winners will be notified by the Promoter via the contact details registered in the online entry form

PRIZES:

1. All entrants go in the draw to win one (1) of twenty (20) Prizes, being:
   1 x Main Prize being the contents of a 20Ft Shipping Container containing assorted products from Mitre 10 MEGA Invercargill, valued at a total of $20,000.
   19 x Secondary Prizes being a wheelbarrow and the contents of the of the wheelbarrow, valued at a total of $500.
2. The Main Prize does not include the 20 Ft Shipping Container.
3. Prizes will be made available for collection from Mitre 10 Mega Invercargill from Saturday, 8 March 2025.
4. The Main Prize includes delivery of the products to the Winner’s house if the winner lives in the Invercargill City boundary. Delivery outside of this boundary will be arranged with the Winner.
5. Mitre 10 Gift Card terms apply to any Gift Card prizes won. These terms can be found at: www.mitre10.co.nz/gift-card-information.
6. Prizes are not exchangeable for cash or gift cards, or exchangeable in anyway.

PRIZE DRAW:

1. “Winner” is defined as the twenty (20) persons whose names are drawn at the prize draw held on Monday, 3 March 2025.
2. The Winners will be drawn by random draw from all valid entries.
3. The Winners will be notified by telephone on the phone number submitted with their entry within two days of the Prize Draw. The Winners must respond by Wednesday, 5 March 2025 or the entry will be forfeited, and another potential winner will be drawn.
4. The Winners will be asked to be in-store at Mitre 10 MEGA Invercargill at 10am on Saturday, 8 March 2025 to participate in an activity to determine which of the twenty (20) prizes each winner will receive. If a Winner is unable to be in-store at Mitre 10 MEGA Invercargill on Saturday, 8 March 2025, the Winner can nominate a family member or friend to represent the Winner on the day. If the Winner or a representative is not present in-store the prize will be forfeited and the Promoter reserves the right to select a replacement.
5. Each Winner will draw a code at random from the prize bucket. One (1) code will unlock the Main Prize being the contents of the 20 Ft Shipping Container. Winners who have codes that are unsuccessful at unlocking the Shipping Container will win a Secondary Prize being a wheelbarrow containing products.
6. The Promoter is not responsible for any notification that is misdirected, lost or damaged, or if the Winner cannot be contacted due to incorrect details being provided in the entry form.

PERSONAL INFORMATION:

1. The Promoter collects and uses personal information in order to conduct the Promotion. The Promoter will disclose this information to third parties only for the purpose of this Promotion, and otherwise only in accordance with its Privacy Policy (mitre10.co.nz/privacy).
2. By accepting an opportunity to win a prize, the Contestant agrees that the Promoter, Mitre 10 MEGA Invercargill, may use the Winner’s name, town/city and photograph for publicity purposes relating to this promotion, including marketing material, in any form of media, without payment or any other compensation.

FURTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:

1. By entering this Promotion you accept these terms as amended from time to time.
2. This Promotion is only open to “Eligible Entrants”, being individuals who: (i) are residents of New Zealand aged 18 years or older; and (ii) are not employees of a Mitre 10 Store, the Promoter, or the Prize Sponsors, or a spouse, defacto partner, parent, child or sibling (whether natural or by adoption) of such employee; and (iii) are not professionally connected with the Promotion.
3. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity and eligibility of entries and to disqualify any entry that is not in accordance with these terms.
4. The Promoter’s decision on any matter is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
5. Prior to receiving the Prize and being declared a Winner, the entrant may be required to show proof of identity and to sign a declaration of eligibility and participation agreement that accepts the terms relating to the use and enjoyment of the Prize and releasing the Promoter and related parties from any and all liability in connection with the Promotion and/or the Prize.
6. All other expenses incurred with any part of the Prize are the responsibility of the Winner.
7. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, directors, shareholders, employees, advisors, assignees, agents, licensees, representatives, advertising and promotional agencies) and the Prize Sponsors exclude all liability for any personal injury or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity), whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion or the Prize.
8. The Promoter is not responsible for any third-party acts or omissions including but not limited to that of the Prize Sponsors.
9. The Promoter reserves the right to suspend or cancel the promotion and to amend these terms at any time.
