It’s Easy As to fundraise for your community group at Mitre 10 MEGA Te Rapa & Ruakura. Just get together a group of volunteers and the necessary products, and we’ll do the rest.

What you need to supply to run a Community BBQ:

The following must be supplied by the Community Group

• At least two volunteers required (two adults minimum)
• Sausages, bread, onion, sauces (bacon & eggs allowed as well)
• Napkins, rubbish bags, and sauce dispensers/bottles (you must take your rubbish away at the end of the day)
• Basic cooking equipment (tongs, spatulas, knives)
• Small bottle of cooking oil
• Cash float (recommended amount: $100)
• Mobile payment terminal (optional)
• Aprons and single-use food handling gloves
• Food-grade containers for safe storage
• Chilly bins/coolers with enough ice to maintain food temperatures below 5°C
• Raffle tickets can be sold

The following will be supplied by Mitre 10

• Community BBQ Unit
• Mitre 10 Gazebo (Ruakura only)
• Fire Extinguisher
• Gas Bottle
• Cleaning Products (Degreaser, Bucket, BBQ Scraper, Dustpan & Brush, and a broom)
