Choose a screen
Select which type of screen you would like, and check it will fit your bath. Some screens are fixed, and some will have a swinging door, which can swing inwards or outwards depending on your bath.
If you’re in any doubt about which screen to choose, just take a photo of your bath, bring it in store and we’ll help you select the right model.
Determine position of screen
If your bath has a lip, your screen will be placed just inside the lip. If your bath doesn’t have a lip, position your screen approximately 4mm from the edge of the bath – so it is sitting on a ? at surface.
Attach channel to wall
- Plumb a line, from the bath, up the wall. This is where your channel will be attached to.
- Locate position of solid fixings in the wall, and mark where they are. It’s also important to make sure there are no wires or pipes in your wall. A stud detector will make this easier.
- If possible check under the house for pipe locations.
- If you can’t locate any solid fixings, you can use wall anchors instead.
- Place shower channel against wall and mark out position of screw holes. Depending on what surface you are drilling into, use the appropriate drill bit.
TIP: Place masking tape on tiles to ensure drill bit does not slip when drilling. - Insert plugs if necessary (to keep the screws in position).
- Apply a liberal amount of silicone on back of the shower channel.
- Place against wall on plumb line and drive in fixings.
- Clean up excess silicone
