Competition Details

HOW TO ENTER:

  1. Entry to the prize draw is automatic when an eligible Club member: 
    1. purchases any product from Mitre 10, Mitre 10 MEGA or www.mitre10.co.nz during the promotional period; and 
    2. identifies themselves in the same transaction as a Club member by: 
      1. scanning the Airpoints™ card registered to their Mitre 10 Club profile, 
      2. providing their name, email address or phone number, or 
      3. scanning their Mitre 10 Club barcode, 
      4. logging in online at www.mitre10.co.nz 
  2. One entry per qualifying transaction.
  3. Purchases made on account, including any SmartMate or trade account are excluded.
  4. The promotion commences at 12.01 am on 1 July 2026 and closes at midnight on 31 July 2026 ("Promotion Period"). Entries are strictly valid on purchases between these dates and must be received by the Promoter before midnight on 3 August 2026 to enter the Main Prize Draw and before midnight of the day before a Weekly Prize Draw to enter that Weekly Prize Draw.

PRIZES:

  1. There is a total of 11,000 Airpoints™ worth of prizes. Consisting of: Grand Prize of 10,000 Airpoints™ and 4 x weekly prizes of 250 Airpoints™ each.
  2. All entrants go into the Main Prize Draw and every eligible Weekly Prize Draw to win a Prize.
  3. Each Winner agrees to make themselves available for reasonable promotional and publicity purposes without further compensation.
  4. Airpoints™ prizes will be credited to the Winner’s nominated Koru account within 30 days of the end of the promotional period. The Promoter does not accept liability for any incorrect on invalid Koru account details provided by a Winner.

PRIZE DRAW:

  1. “Winner” is defined as the person whose name is drawn in the Main Prize Draw held on 4 August 2026 or the Weekly Prize Draws held on 7, 14, 21 and 28 July 2026 and 4 August 2026 (Prize Draw) or on 21 August 2026 (Unclaimed Prize Draw).
  2. Each Winner will be drawn by the Promoter by random draw from all valid entries. The first valid entry drawn will win the Prize.  
  3. The Main Prize Draw will draw the winner of the Grand Prize.
  4. The Weekly Prize Draws will draw the winners of 4x 250 Airpoints™. The Weekly Prize Draws will be drawn from all valid entries received before midnight of the day before a Weekly Prize Draw.
  5. Each Winner will be notified by telephone or email using the details registered on their Mitre 10 Club account within five (5) days of the Prize Draw. The Winner must respond within seven (7) days of the Prize Draw  or the prize will be forfeited and another Winner drawn.
  6. To be eligible to receive a prize in this promotion, a Winner must have an active Air New Zealand Koru account, or the prize will be forfeited and another Winner drawn.
  7. If any Prize remains unclaimed by 7 days after a Prize Draw, the Promoter may conduct an unclaimed prize draw on 21 August 2026 in order to award any unclaimed Prizes (“Unclaimed Prize Draw”). The new Winner will be notified by telephone or email using the details registered on their Mitre 10 Club account within five (5) days of the Unclaimed Prize Draw. The new Winner will be subject to the same terms and conditions of this competition. The Promoter reserves the right to forfeit any prize if said unclaimed prize has not been claimed by 5pm on 4 September 2026.
  8. The Promoter is not responsible for any notification that is misdirected, lost or damaged, or if the Winner cannot be contacted due to incorrect details being provided in the entry form.

PERSONAL INFORMATION:

  1. The Promoter collects and uses personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and otherwise in accordance with its Privacy Policy (mitre10.co.nz/privacy). The Promoter will disclose this information to third parties only for the purpose of this Promotion.
  2. Each Winner agrees that the Promoter may use the Winner’s name, town/city and photograph for publicity purposes relating to this promotion, including on packaging, or in public relations and marketing material, in any form of media, without payment or any other compensation. 

FURTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:

  1. By entering this Promotion you accept these terms as amended from time to time.
  2. This Promotion is only open to “Eligible Entrants”, being individuals who: (i) are residents of New Zealand aged 18 years or older; and (ii) are not employees of a Mitre 10 Store, the Promoter, or a spouse, defacto partner, parent, child or sibling (whether natural or by adoption) of such employee; and (iii) are not professionally connected with the Promotion.
  3. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity and eligibility of entries and to disqualify any entry that is not in accordance with these terms.
  4. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
  5. The Promoter’s decision on any matter is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  6. Prior to receiving the Prize and being declared a Winner, the entrant may be required to show proof of identity and to sign a declaration of eligibility and participation agreement that accepts the terms relating to the use and enjoyment of the Prize and releasing the Promoter and related parties from any and all liability in connection with the Promotion and/or the Prize.
  7. All other expenses incurred with any part of the Prize are the responsibility of the Winner.
  8. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, directors, shareholders, employees, advisors, assignees, agents, licensees, representatives, advertising and promotional agencies) exclude all liability for any personal injury or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity), whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion or the Prize.
  9. The Promoter is not responsible for any third-party acts or omissions.
  10. The Promoter reserves the right to suspend or cancel the promotion and to amend these terms at any time.
  11. The Promoter is Mitre 10 (New Zealand) Limited.
