Project: Community Food Pantry for Philipstown community

 

Mitre 10 MEGA Ferrymead leant a helping hand to the Phillipstown Community in Christchurch, building them a food pantry so that people could access free food when in need.

The Philipstown Community Centre work to provide a safe, caring and supportive environment to foster individual and community growth, bettering the lives of the local residents. When they needed help with resources and skills, Landscape Team Leader of the Ferrymead store, Graeme, stepped in to build them a pantry on site.
