Win Stan's Help Promotion - Terms & Conditions

The Prize

Three (consecutive) eight-hour days of project help from our qualified builder Stan Scott and a $10,000 Mitre 10 Gift Card.

The Prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash.

How to enter

Fill out the entry form in full at mitre10.co.nz/christmaswin before 11.59pm, 24 December 2024. The promoter at their discretion, may disqualify any entries that are not complete. One entry is allowed per person.

Entries are deemed received at the time of receipt by the Promoter. Records of the Promoter are final and conclusive as to the time of receipt.

Prize Winner selection

Mitre 10 (New Zealand) Ltd will judge and select a winning project based on the following criteria:

• The project is for a residential property in New Zealand
• The project is a hands-on DIY project relevant to products for sale at Mitre 10 (New Zealand) Ltd
• Strong before photos, description, video or other visuals that clearly show the project to be completed

Prize Redemption

The prize winner will be contacted before end of day 14th January 2025. The prize must be redeemed before the end of March 2025 and is subject to the availability of Mitre 10’s builder Stan Scott.

Terms and Conditions

Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions as amended or modified by the Promoter from time to time. By accepting the Prize, the Winner agrees that the Promoter may use the Winner’s name, location and other details included on their entry for publicity purposes strictly relating to this promotion, without seeking payment or any other compensation.

The Promoter’s decisions on all matters related to the promotion are final and correspondence will not be entered into.

The Promoter reserves the right to suspend the promotion, amend the promotion terms or withdraw the promotion at any time.

The Promoter may use entry details to contact the Nominator to find out more information about the project as part of the judging process.

The Promoter may require the prize winner to enter into any agreement or arrangement, that may be reasonably required for the provision of the Prize to the prize winner, including approval from any owner of the property where the Prize is to be provided.

The Promoter will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever that may be sustained, directly or indirectly, or for any personal injury suffered or sustained by the winner in connection with any part of this competition or the Prize, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

The Promoter collects and uses personal information in order to conduct the Promotion. The Promoter will disclose this information to third parties only for the purpose of this Promotion, and otherwise only in accordance with its Privacy Policy (mitre10.co.nz/privacy).

This Promotion is only open to “Eligible Entrants”, being individuals who: (i) are residents of New Zealand aged 18 years or older; and (ii) are not employees of a Mitre 10 Store, the Promoter, or a spouse, defacto partner, parent, child or sibling (whether natural or by adoption) of such employee; and (iii) are not professionally connected with the Promotion.
