Crisp and cooling, with extraordinarily thin skin and a sweet delicate flavour. Quite delightful eaten with the deep green skin still on, Burpless is low in the compound cucurbitacin that produces 'cucumber burps'. Prolific and abundant, resistant to powdery mildew.
Great companion plant for basil, beans, broccoli, carrots, corn, lettuce, potatoes, parsnip, radish and tomotoes. Pick fruit regularly (when about 20cm) to prolong harvest.
