Royal Gala is a very popular New Zealand bred dessert apple with a with red stripe over its red blushed skin. It has a crisp, juicy greenish/white flesh that is sweet to taste and firm with a fine texture. It is regarded as one of the world's finest apples.
Apple trees grow well in all regions of new Zealand cropping well in both warmer and cooler climates. Soil suitability depends on the roof stock that the variety is grafted onto, which also determines how large the tree will grow. They will start to produce fruit between its second to fifth year depending on rootstock. Best grown in a sunny, sheltered side with free draining soil. Water well during the early stages, during long dry periods and when the fruit is developing.

It’s always easiest to return your product to the store you got it from, but you can return it to any Mitre 10 store. If you prefer to courier your product back to us, just check your invoice to see which store dispatched your order and that’s where you send it back to.
We will refund to your original payment method where possible or, if you prefer, we can issue you a Mitre 10 Gift Card for the sum equal to the cost of the product excluding handling and any delivery or returns costs.
If you return products which were purchased in full or part using Airpoints Dollars™ and choose to have your purchase refunded, we’ll refund you in the same proportion of Airpoints Dollars™ and other payment types that were used for the original payment.
Faulty Goods
