Griselinia littoralis 'Broadway Mint' is an evergreen New Zealand native. This native has foliage that is almost seductive. Thick, lush, lime leaves make this a great plant for a number of situations. It is very hardy and can also tolerate coastal conditions. Make a spectacular hedge. If un-clipped will grow to 4m in height, but with one to two trims a year you can tame this beast to a neat hedge at any desired height. To create a hedge plant them at 0.7m to 1m apart. The closer you go the faster and tighter it will be.
