Sprinkle or massage all over steak, beef fillets and shish-kebabs before frying, grilling and barbecuing. Rub strips of beef and grill or fry gently, then toss through salads and stir- fried vegetables. Use to flavour and tenderise venison. Mix into beef or bean nachos and burger patties. Cowboy Steak Rub is also delicious on tofu.
Just drizzle a little oil and sprinkle a heaped teaspoon of rub over meat or tofu 5 minutes before cooking. Rub into meat and leave on for 6+ hours to tenderise.
