This variety of garlic is a home gardener favourite. Printanor garlic seed has firm cloves and has excellent keeping qualities. Handle with care as freshly dug garlic bulbs are easily damaged. This flavoursome garlic variety is medium to strong taste, and is wonderful when roasted or used to add flavour to a wide variety of cuisine.


Break the garlic bulb into individual cloves, it is important you do this the same day of planting as the clove will dehydrate and may not produce as well. Garlic competes poorly with weeds, try to keep as weed free as possible. Water moderately.

  • Recommended planting months are mid-June to August.
  • Harvest after approximately 7 months once the tops start to die back.
  • Perfect for pots or containers.
  • Position in a spot that receives full sun.
  • Good drainage is essential to prevent bulbs from rotting.
  • Reduce watering a month before harvesting to improve keeping quality.

Clearance items or products purchased during Clearance events in our stores, cannot be returned or exchanged.

It’s always easiest to return your product to the store you got it from, but you can return it to any Mitre 10 store. If you prefer to courier your product back to us, just check your invoice to see which store dispatched your order and that’s where you send it back to.

We will refund to your original payment method where possible or, if you prefer, we can issue you a Mitre 10 Gift Card for the sum equal to the cost of the product excluding handling and any delivery or returns costs.

If you return products which were purchased in full or part using Airpoints Dollars™ and choose to have your purchase refunded, we’ll refund you in the same proportion of Airpoints Dollars™ and other payment types that were used for the original payment.

Faulty Goods

If a problem occurs with a product purchased from Mitre 10, bring it back to us with your proof of purchase. We will either repair, replace or provide you with a refund, as set out in the Consumer Guarantees Act.
