Sweet As produce masses of strawberries in the summer season. The vigorous dark green plants will produce large to very large bright red berries that are exceptionally tasty and can be picked during Spring. These compact and low maintenance easy care plants are the perfect companion for your veggie patch. Ideal for jam making, mouth-watering desserts or just picking and eating.
Regular feeding and watering is essential. Apply a complete fertiliser during the growing seasons and keep moist in dry conditions. Plant in moist, well drained soil with plenty of organic matter. Wider plant spacing will deliver the largest berries.
- Recommended planting is during Winter and Spring.
- Choose a spot in full sun.
- Very large fruit that is mostly conical, very firm and red in colour.
- Bears fruit 12-14 weeks after planting.
- To get the high yields it is capable of producing, this variety will need a stronger watering and nutrient program than any other bearer.

It’s always easiest to return your product to the store you got it from, but you can return it to any Mitre 10 store. If you prefer to courier your product back to us, just check your invoice to see which store dispatched your order and that’s where you send it back to.
We will refund to your original payment method where possible or, if you prefer, we can issue you a Mitre 10 Gift Card for the sum equal to the cost of the product excluding handling and any delivery or returns costs.
If you return products which were purchased in full or part using Airpoints Dollars™ and choose to have your purchase refunded, we’ll refund you in the same proportion of Airpoints Dollars™ and other payment types that were used for the original payment.
