Tomatoberry produces intriguing strawberry-shaped fruit on productive, long trusses that add both edible and decorative elements to the garden. The cherry-sized fruit are very sweet and have a thin skin with uniquely textured flesh. Fantastic in salads and antipasto.


Tomatoes with their rapid growth rate are both thirsty and hungry. It is very important to water daily, or twice a day in hot dry weather. The plants must not be allowed to dry out. They do not like wet feet however, take care that water does not lie around and become stagnant. Tomatoes should be fed regularly with Tui Tomato Food (139448), a blend of nitrogen, phosphorus and a generous amount of potassium formulated to promote the growth and fruit potential of all types of tomatoes. Feeding during the growing season should be done monthly which will replace nutrients taken from the soil and ensure you get the most out of your tomato plants.

  • Recommended planting is during Spring.
  • Note: Planting should be delayed if the spring season is unusually cold or wet as tomatoes are frost tender.
  • Thin skin and uniquely textured skin.
  • Strawberry-shaped fruit.
  • Tomatoes should be grown in shelter or under cover in cool climates.
  • Harvest in 8-10 weeks.
  • Tomatoes thrive in free draining soil which is rich in organic matter.

Delivery

Due to the size, weight or materials involved, this product is currently not able to be delivered. However, you can still buy online and collect this product at your local Mitre 10 or Mitre 10 MEGA store.

We are happy to exchange or refund products within 28 days provided that the product is returned with a valid invoice or delivery docket, and;

Customised products, which include products cut, made-to-measure, special order or mixed to specific requirements, cannot be refunded or exchanged.

Clearance items or products purchased during Clearance events in our stores, cannot be returned or exchanged.

It’s always easiest to return your product to the store you got it from, but you can return it to any Mitre 10 store. If you prefer to courier your product back to us, just check your invoice to see which store dispatched your order and that’s where you send it back to.

We will refund to your original payment method where possible or, if you prefer, we can issue you a Mitre 10 Gift Card for the sum equal to the cost of the product excluding handling and any delivery or returns costs.

If you return products which were purchased in full or part using Airpoints Dollars™ and choose to have your purchase refunded, we’ll refund you in the same proportion of Airpoints Dollars™ and other payment types that were used for the original payment.

Faulty Goods

If a problem occurs with a product purchased from Mitre 10, bring it back to us with your proof of purchase. We will either repair, replace or provide you with a refund, as set out in the Consumer Guarantees Act.
