Design your custom custom wardrobe.

Whether you are updating your current storage space, or building your new home, a well designed wardrobe can offer convenience, additional storage, comfort and added value. We recommend that before purchasing and designing your wardrobe, that you think about your lifestyle needs and what your storage priorities are. Discuss these below questions with your partner and/or family to optimise your available wardrobe space.

• What special items would you like to shelf display?
• Do you have a lof of accessories e.g. shoes and/or bags?
• What cabinetry finishes compliment your space?
• Do you require space for long or short hanging clothing?
• Is your wardrobe cavity "reach in" or "walk in"?

Finally, measure the total height, width and depth of wardrobe cavity or walk in wardrobe space. It is also advisable to draw a plan and create an inventory to help with your purchasing journey, and to confirm that your design meets your storage criteria/goals.

A modular designed system (product measurement and installation)

The Connex modular components are designed and specified to be joined together to fit into your available space. The system is designed to be stand alone i.e. it does not need to be attached to the wardrobe walls, only the back wall by the suspension rail. This means that it is possible to install a chosen size/length of Connex wardrobe system into a wardrobe of a larger space also. An example of this would be if you had a 2.4m “reach in” wardrobe space, choosing to either design your Connex wardrobe to fill all of the available space - or less than, having the excess space free for other storage options (i.e. cartons/boxes or bins). As demonstrated by the image below, a Connex Wardrobe system that has been designed to measure 1.8m in length fits inside a 2.4m wardrobe space, leaving the consumer with 60cm of free space.
