bbi has a range of products certified in their PlyBrace system, in 7mm, 9mm, and 12mm thicknesses used to resist earthquake and wind loads on timber framed buildings. bbi RedLine plywood is an FSC certified, poplar core product, with a rich red face. It is constructed with a poplar core, pressed onto a hardwood veneer. It is pre-sanded to take stain, polyurethane, oil, and paint well. bbi RedLine takes knocks well. It is designed for interior use only, and a subset of the range is part of the PlyBrace certification. It is also available in a pre-finished matt UV coated version, bbi RedLine Plus, which saves time on installation and prevents the veneer from fading due to extended UV exposure.
bbi BlondeLine Birch plywood is an FSC certi!ed, poplar core product, with an attractive light and creamy face with no knots and superior grain. It is constructed with a poplar core, pressed onto a birch veneer. The pre sanded faces take stain, polyurethane, oil, and paint well and achieves a modern look when installed with negative detailing. bbi BlondeLine is strong enough to hang shelving, tools, etc and it takes knocks well. It is designed for interior use only, and a subset of the range is part of the PlyBrace certification.
The pre-finished matt UV coated version, bbi BlondeLine Plus, is coated on both sides using a three-coat acrylic system. This product will save you time on installation and prevents the veneer from yellowing due to extended UV exposure.
