TERMS & CONDITIONS:

Promotion period September 1, 2026 to October 31, 2026. Entries close on November 7, 2026.
The prize is 5 (five) x $1,000 in Z Energy Gift Cards ($5,000 in total) which are not redeemable for cash. 

Promotion Terms & Conditions

• Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions. By participating, entrants agree to these conditions.
• Entry is open to customers who purchase any CRC branded Car Care product (“Qualifying Purchase”) from any participating Mitre 10 or Mitre 10 MEGA store during the Promotional Period. See the Appendix for the list of applicable products.
  • Retail customers: enter the Promotion by completing the online entry form at www.mitre10.co.nz/crc or by scanning the promotional QR code displayed in store, where you must enter your full name, email address, contact number and unique code on your receipt.
  • Trade customers: automatically entered into the draw when a Qualifying Purchase is made on a Mitre 10 Trade Account. 
• Every transaction which includes one or more CRC branded Car Care products will be eligible for one entry into the draw.
• An entry is invalid if the purchased product is returned for credit or exchanged for an alternative product.
• Entry is open to both trade and retail Mitre 10 customers. If a Mitre 10 Trade Account is placed on stop credit during the Promotional Period, or at any time before the Prize is claimed in full, the Prize will be forfeited at the Promoter’s discretion.
• This Promotion is only open to “Eligible Entrants”, being individuals who: 
  • Are residents of New Zealand.
  • Are not employees of a Mitre 10 Store, the Promoter, or a spouse, de facto partner, parent, child, or sibling (whether natural or by adoption) of such employee.
  • Are not professionally connected with the Promotion.
• Entrants under the age of 18 years must have parental or guardian permission to enter and to claim the prize if they are the winner.
• By entering this Promotion, retail customers agree to these Terms & Conditions, as amended from time to time. Trade customers agree to these Terms & Conditions, as amended from time to time by accepting a prize.
• The winner must provide proof of purchase of a CRC Car Care product. There is a limit of one entry per invoice.
• To be eligible, the purchase of a CRC Car Care product must be made during the Promotional Period, which commences on September 1, 2026, and closes at 11.59pm NZST on October 31, 2026. Any purchases made outside the Promotional Period are ineligible. Entries close at 11.59pm NZST on November 7, 2026.
• There are five prizes to be awarded in this Promotion, being 5 x $1,000 Z Energy Gift Cards ($5,000 in total).

• The prize will be delivered to the winner by Mitre 10. 
• The prize cannot be converted to cash and is not transferable. 
• The draw will take place at Mitre 10 National Support Centre (67 Corinthian Drive, Albany, Auckland) on Monday, November 9, 2026, for entries received up to November 7, 2026.
• The Prize Draw is conducted by the Promoter by way of random selection from all eligible entries and the first five eligible entries drawn will be deemed the Winners. If the same person is drawn more than one Prize, the second or subsequent Prize will be redrawn. 
• The Promoter reserves the right to request verification of identity, residential address of winners at the nominated prize delivery address and/or proof of entry validity and other information relevant to entry into or participation in this promotion. Verification is at the Promoter’s discretion, whose decision is final. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who is involved in any way with interfering or tampering with the conduct of the promotion.
• The winner will be notified by email or phone within five days of the draw, and their name will be published on the Promoter’s website at www.mitre10.co.nz/crc by November 16, 2026. The Winner must respond by November 23, 2026 or the prize will be forfeited and another Winner drawn.
• The Promoter may conduct such further draws at the same place as the original draw as are necessary on November 26, 2026, to redistribute any prize that remains unclaimed by that date, subject to any relevant legislation. If such a draw is required, the winner will be notified by email, and their name will be published on the Promoter’s website at www.mitre10.co.nz/crc by November 30, 2026.
• The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any failure to receive an entry, for inaccurate information, or for any loss, damage or injury resulting from technical or telecommunications problems, including security breaches.
• The Promoter is not responsible for lost or interrupted communications, or for unavailable network servers or other connections, failed telephone or computer transmissions, or other errors of any kind, whether human, mechanical or electronic.
• The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any error, defect, delay, theft, unauthorised access to, or alteration of entries. Subject to any written directions given under applicable law, if for any reason the competition is not capable of operating as planned, including because of infection by computer viruses, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the competition, the Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition. The Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual for:
  • Tampering with the entry process, including exceeding any limitation on the numbers of entries, or any other process as determined by the Promoter that in any way affects the fairness of the promotion.
  • Tampering with the operation of the competition or website.
  • Acting in violation of these terms and conditions.
• The Promoter collects and uses personal information to conduct the Promotion. The Promoter will disclose this information to third parties only for the purposes of this Promotion, and otherwise only in accordance with its Privacy Policy (www.mitre10.co.nz/privacy).
• By accepting a Prize, the Winner agrees that the Promoter may use the Winner’s name, town or city, and photograph for publicity purposes relating to this Promotion, including on packaging or in public relations and marketing material, in any form of media, without payment or other compensation.
• To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter, its employees, and agents will not be liable for any claims, damages, injuries, costs or expenses suffered, sustained or incurred (including indirect or consequential loss) as a result of, arising out of, or in any way connected with this competition and/or its Prize, or any act or omission (whether negligent or not) of the Promoter, its employees or agents.
• All other expenses incurred with any part of the Prize are the responsibility of the Winner.
• The Promoter’s decision on any matter is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
