PRIZE DRAW TERMS & CONDITIONS:

Promotional Period 

• Promotion opens Tuesday, 1st September 2026 and ends Saturday, 31st October 2026 (“Promotional Period”). Any purchases made outside the Promotional Period are ineligible. 
• The Promoter is Mitre 10 (New Zealand) Limited, 67 Corinthian Drive, Albany, Auckland 0632 (“Promoter”). 

Entry and qualification for the Prize Draw 

• To automatically enter the draw, Mitre 10 Trade Customers must purchase a minimum of $2,000 excluding GST of timber or plywood during the Promotional Period on their Trade Account at any participating Mitre 10 or Mitre 10 MEGA store. 
• Eligible Timber and Plywood includes sawn timber, plywood and mouldings intended for use in structural or decorative applications.  
• Excludes frame and truss, wood-based products, outdoor furniture, and garden stakes. 
• One entry is given for every $2,000 excluding GST spent during the Promotional Period. Entry becomes invalid if the purchased product is returned for credit. 
• Trade Account holders are only eligible to win a Prize in the region that they made their highest spend during the Promotional Period. Entries will be allocated to the region in which the Trade Account holder has the highest qualifying spend. 
• Promotion is only available to New Zealand residents who are Mitre 10 Trade Account Holders at participating stores. 
• By making a qualifying purchase during the Promotional Period, eligible Trade Account holders are automatically entered into the Promotion and are deemed to accept these terms and conditions. 
• Should your Mitre 10 Trade Account be put on stop credit during the Promotional Period, or at any time prior to the Prize being claimed in full, the Promoter reserves the right to forfeit the Prize and conduct another prize draw. Promoter’s discretion applies.

Prizes

• All entries go into the draw to win either: 
  
  • A Travel Package including tickets to the Mitre 10 Trade Event in Hong Kong to watch Sevens Rugby in April 2027 (Hong Kong Travel Prize) OR 
  • A $500 Mitre 10 Gift Card  

(“Prize”)  

• The Hong Kong Travel Prize consists of the following package for one person: 
  • Travel dates 8 to 12 April 2027 
  • Weekend ticket pass to the Rugby Sevens 
  • Return Air New Zealand flights  
  • 4 x nights’ single accommodation in Hong Kong 
  • Breakfast each day 
  • 2 x evening functions and 1 x additional option activity 

• The Hong Kong Travel Prize includes international air travel and accommodation and is subject to the following terms and conditions:  
  • The Winner is responsible for organising and for the cost of any travel, travel documentation (such as visas, passports etc), accommodation, spending money, meals, drinks, laundry charges, activities, incidentals, transport, travel insurance and all other ancillary costs associated with redeeming the Prize, outside of what is included in each prize. 
  • Flight tickets are available on the regular scheduled services of each airline and are subject to seasonal embargos. The flight itinerary may have to be adjusted depending on the airline's departure city and their current flight schedule. Unless otherwise specified, the air travel is economy class.  
  • Any changes to travel dates or additional accommodation outside the travel period specified in the Prize details, made by the winner, which incur additional costs, are to be paid by the Winner.  
  • The Winner is recommended to obtain travel insurance to protect themselves against additional costs incurred in the event of unforeseen circumstances.  
  • The Hong Kong Travel Prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash. The Prize must be taken as stated in the Prize details and no compensation will be payable if the Winner is unable to use the Prize as stated. For the avoidance of doubt, if the Winner is, for whatever reason, unable to travel on a nominated date during this period, whether the failure was due to reasons beyond the Winner's control or otherwise, then the Winner will forfeit the Prize. 
  • The Promoter makes no representation as to safety, conditions and other issues that may exist at any destination. The winner accepts the Hong Kong Travel Prize at their own risk.  
  • All travel is subject to the terms, conditions and restrictions of the Hong Kong Travel Prize service providers. The Winner must sign a legal release, in a form acceptable to the Promoter in its absolute discretion, if requested by the Promoter.

• There are 10 (ten) Hong Kong Travel Prizes to be won. 2 (two) per Mitre 10 Trade region: 
  • Region 1: Upper North Island 
  • Region 2: Waikato & Bay of Plenty 
  • Region 3: Mid North Island 
  • Region 4: Lower North Island and Upper South Island 
  • Region 5: Lower South Island  

• There are 20 x $500 Mitre 10 Gift Cards to be won. 4 (four) per Mitre 10 Trade region:   Region 1: Upper North Island 
  • Region 2: Waikato & Bay of Plenty 
  • Region 3: Mid North Island 
  • Region 4: Lower North Island and Upper South Island 
  • Region 5: Lower South Island

• In the event that some or all of the Prize is unavailable, the Promoter will provide a Prize of equal or of greater value.

Prize Draw

• The prize draw will take place at the Promoter’s offices on Monday, 10th November 2026.   
• The prize draw is conducted by the Promoter by way of random selection from all eligible entries. The first 2 (two) eligible entries drawn for the Hong Kong Travel Prize (in each region, as per Clause 13) and the first 4 (four) entries drawn (in each region, as per Clause 14) for the Gift Card Prizes will be deemed the Winners. Trade Accounts may only win one Prize and will be disregarded from future prize draws. 
• Each Winner will be notified by phone or email address recorded as the account key contact on the Trade Account within five (5) days of the prize draw. If a Winner cannot be contacted after reasonable attempts within seven (7) days from the prize draw date, that Winner will forfeit the prize and another prize winner will be drawn. 
• If a Prize remains unclaimed by 30th November 2026, the Promoter may conduct an Unclaimed Prize Draw on 4th December in order to award a Prize (“Unclaimed Prize Draw”). The new Winner will be contacted using their Trade Account details within two (2) days of the Unclaimed Prize Draw. The new Winner will be subject to the same terms and conditions of this competition. The Promoter reserves the right to forfeit any prize if said unclaimed prize has not been claimed by 31st December. 
• The Promoter is not responsible for any notification that is misdirected, lost or damaged, or if the Winner cannot be contacted due to incorrect details being provided on the Winner’s Trade Account. 
• Prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash, nor can it be exchanged for any other product or service.

General Terms

• Accepting a Prize is deemed to be consent for the Promoter to use the Winner’s name, town/city and photograph for reasonable publicity, promotional purposes if required, and marketing material, in any form of media, without payment or any other compensation. 
• The Promoter collects and uses personal information in order to conduct the Promotion. The Promoter will disclose this information to third parties only for the purpose of this Promotion, and otherwise only in accordance with its Privacy Policy (mitre10.co.nz/privacy). 
• The Promoter reserves the right to suspend the promotion, amend the Promotion terms or withdraw the promotion at any time. 
• The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entry where an entrant has behaved in a fraudulent or dishonest manner or otherwise than in accordance with these terms and conditions or the spirit of the promotion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. 
• The Promoter’s decisions on all matters related to the Promotion are final and correspondence will not be entered into. 
• Unless the Promoter determines otherwise, this promotion is not valid in conjunction with any other promotion that the Promoter may be running concurrently. 
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter and its related companies, employees and agents, shall not be liable in any way (whether in contract, negligence or otherwise) for any loss, damage, personal injury or cost (including but not limited to indirect and consequential loss) suffered by any person arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with entering this promotion or accepting a Prize. 
• The Winner will be responsible for any tax implications that may arise as a result of winning. 
• The Promoter is not responsible for any delay or failure to conduct the Promotion, draw the Prize, or deliver the Prize (including where an event or promotion activity is cancelled or cannot proceed) due to events beyond its reasonable control (e.g. natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions or technical failures). In such cases, the Promoter may suspend, modify or cancel the Promotion or substitute the Prize, at its discretion.

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

Promotion period September 1, 2026 to October 31, 2026. Entries close on November 7, 2026.
The prize is 5 (five) x $1,000 in Z Energy Gift Cards ($5,000 in total) which are not redeemable for cash. 

Promotion Terms & Conditions

• Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions. By participating, entrants agree to these conditions.
• Entry is open to customers who purchase any CRC branded Car Care product (“Qualifying Purchase”) from any participating Mitre 10 or Mitre 10 MEGA store during the Promotional Period. See the Appendix for the list of applicable products.
  • Retail customers: enter the Promotion by completing the online entry form at www.mitre10.co.nz/crc or by scanning the promotional QR code displayed in store, where you must enter your full name, email address, contact number and unique code on your receipt.
  • Trade customers: automatically entered into the draw when a Qualifying Purchase is made on a Mitre 10 Trade Account. 
• Every transaction which includes one or more CRC branded Car Care products will be eligible for one entry into the draw.
• An entry is invalid if the purchased product is returned for credit or exchanged for an alternative product.
• Entry is open to both trade and retail Mitre 10 customers. If a Mitre 10 Trade Account is placed on stop credit during the Promotional Period, or at any time before the Prize is claimed in full, the Prize will be forfeited at the Promoter’s discretion.
• This Promotion is only open to “Eligible Entrants”, being individuals who: 
  • Are residents of New Zealand.
  • Are not employees of a Mitre 10 Store, the Promoter, or a spouse, de facto partner, parent, child, or sibling (whether natural or by adoption) of such employee.
  • Are not professionally connected with the Promotion.
• Entrants under the age of 18 years must have parental or guardian permission to enter and to claim the prize if they are the winner.
• By entering this Promotion, retail customers agree to these Terms & Conditions, as amended from time to time. Trade customers agree to these Terms & Conditions, as amended from time to time by accepting a prize.
• The winner must provide proof of purchase of a CRC Car Care product. There is a limit of one entry per invoice.
• To be eligible, the purchase of a CRC Car Care product must be made during the Promotional Period, which commences on September 1, 2026, and closes at 11.59pm NZST on October 31, 2026. Any purchases made outside the Promotional Period are ineligible. Entries close at 11.59pm NZST on November 7, 2026.
• There are five prizes to be awarded in this Promotion, being 5 x $1,000 Z Energy Gift Cards ($5,000 in total).

• The prize will be delivered to the winner by Mitre 10. 
• The prize cannot be converted to cash and is not transferable. 
• The draw will take place at Mitre 10 National Support Centre (67 Corinthian Drive, Albany, Auckland) on Monday, November 9, 2026, for entries received up to November 7, 2026.
• The Prize Draw is conducted by the Promoter by way of random selection from all eligible entries and the first five eligible entries drawn will be deemed the Winners. If the same person is drawn more than one Prize, the second or subsequent Prize will be redrawn. 
• The Promoter reserves the right to request verification of identity, residential address of winners at the nominated prize delivery address and/or proof of entry validity and other information relevant to entry into or participation in this promotion. Verification is at the Promoter’s discretion, whose decision is final. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who is involved in any way with interfering or tampering with the conduct of the promotion.
• The winner will be notified by email or phone within five days of the draw, and their name will be published on the Promoter’s website at www.mitre10.co.nz/crc by November 16, 2026. The Winner must respond by November 23, 2026 or the prize will be forfeited and another Winner drawn.
• The Promoter may conduct such further draws at the same place as the original draw as are necessary on November 26, 2026, to redistribute any prize that remains unclaimed by that date, subject to any relevant legislation. If such a draw is required, the winner will be notified by email, and their name will be published on the Promoter’s website at www.mitre10.co.nz/crc by November 30, 2026.
• The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any failure to receive an entry, for inaccurate information, or for any loss, damage or injury resulting from technical or telecommunications problems, including security breaches.
• The Promoter is not responsible for lost or interrupted communications, or for unavailable network servers or other connections, failed telephone or computer transmissions, or other errors of any kind, whether human, mechanical or electronic.
• The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any error, defect, delay, theft, unauthorised access to, or alteration of entries. Subject to any written directions given under applicable law, if for any reason the competition is not capable of operating as planned, including because of infection by computer viruses, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the competition, the Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition. The Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual for:
  • Tampering with the entry process, including exceeding any limitation on the numbers of entries, or any other process as determined by the Promoter that in any way affects the fairness of the promotion.
  • Tampering with the operation of the competition or website.
  • Acting in violation of these terms and conditions.
• The Promoter collects and uses personal information to conduct the Promotion. The Promoter will disclose this information to third parties only for the purposes of this Promotion, and otherwise only in accordance with its Privacy Policy (www.mitre10.co.nz/privacy).
• By accepting a Prize, the Winner agrees that the Promoter may use the Winner’s name, town or city, and photograph for publicity purposes relating to this Promotion, including on packaging or in public relations and marketing material, in any form of media, without payment or other compensation.
• To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter, its employees, and agents will not be liable for any claims, damages, injuries, costs or expenses suffered, sustained or incurred (including indirect or consequential loss) as a result of, arising out of, or in any way connected with this competition and/or its Prize, or any act or omission (whether negligent or not) of the Promoter, its employees or agents.
• All other expenses incurred with any part of the Prize are the responsibility of the Winner.
• The Promoter’s decision on any matter is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
