PRIZE POOL TERMS & CONDITIONS:

Promotional Period

  • Promotion opens on 3rd April 2025 and ends on 28th May 2025 (“Promotional Period”). Any purchases made outside the Promotional Period are ineligible.
  • The Promoter is Mitre 10 (New Zealand) Limited, 67 Corinthian Drive, Albany, Auckland 0632 (“Promoter”).

Entry and qualification for the Prize Pool

  • To automatically enter the draw to win a Prize, Mitre 10 Trade Customers must spend $20,000   (excl. gst) during the Promotional Period   on a Mitre 10 Trade Account held at any participating Mitre 10 or Mitre 10 MEGA store.
  • Each qualifying spend of $20,000 (excl. gst) during the Promotional Period will earn you an additional entry into the draw. Entry becomes invalid if the purchased product is returned for credit or exchanged for alternative product from a non-participating supplier.
  • Promotion is only available to New Zealand residents who hold a Mitre 10 Trade account purchasing at participating stores.
  • Acceptance of a Prize is deemed as acceptance of these terms & conditions.
  • Should your Mitre 10 Trade Account be put on stop credit during the Promotional    Period, or at any time prior to the Prize being claimed in full, the Prize will be forfeited. Promoter’s discretion applies.

 

Prize

  • The Main Prize package, being a trip for two people to the 2025 Singapore Grand Prix, Thursday 2nd to Monday 6th October 2025, valued at up to $15,000 (NZD), comprising:
    • Return flights on Air New Zealand ex. Auckland
    • Thursday 2 October 2025 – NZ284 Auckland to Singapore – depart 11:00am arrive 4:50pm
    • Monday 6 October 2025 – NZ281 Singapore to Auckland – depart 8:35am arrive 11:10pm
    • Return transfers from Singapore Changi Airport to Hotel
    • 4 nights’ accommodation at The Robertson House Hotel, 1 Unity Street, Singapore (Walking distance from hotel to entry Gate for Grand Prix)
    • Breakfast included each morning.  (All other meals, own cost)
    • 2 x 3-day passes to Singapore Grand Prix in Padang Stand (Friday 3rd October to Sunday 5th October 2025)

(“Main Prize”)

  • There are twenty (20) additional prizes of DeWalt 18V XR McLaren Twin Kit’s value d at $649 RRP to be won (“Secondary Prize”). 
  • If the Prize (or part of the Prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the Prize (or that part of Prize) with a prize equal to or greater in value.
  • The Main Prize excludes domestic flights and any other travel cost to and from Auckland which is at the winner’s cost if required.
  • The Main Prize includes international travel and accommodation as specified at paragraph 8 and is subject to the following terms and conditions:
    • The Winner MUST have valid documentation, including but not limited to valid passports and Visas, which meet the requirements of immigration and other government authorities at every destination. 
    • Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities (including any costs associated with delay, will be the sole responsibility of the Winner). 
    • Flight tickets are available on the regular scheduled services of the airline and are subject to seasonal embargos. The flight itinerary may have to be adjusted depending on the airline's departure city and their current flight schedule. Unless otherwise specified, the air travel is economy class. 
    • Any changes to travel dates or additional accommodation outside the travel period specified in the Prize details, made by the winner, which incur additional costs, are to be paid by the Winner. 
    • Unless explicitly stated in the Prize details, the Winner will be responsible for expenses including, but not limited to, spending money, meals, drinks, transport, laundry charges, activities, incidentals, taxes (excluding departure and any other flight associated taxes included within the Prize), gratuities, services charges, passports, visas, travel insurance and all other ancillary costs associated with redeeming the Prize. It is recommended that the Winner obtains travel insurance to protect themselves against additional costs incurred in the event of unforeseen circumstances. 
    • The Prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash. The Prize must be taken as stated in the Prize Details and no compensation will be payable if the Winner is unable to use the Prize as stated. For the avoidance of doubt, if the Winner is, for whatever reason, unable to travel on a nominated date during this period, whether the failure was due to reasons beyond the Winner's control or otherwise, then the Winner will forfeit the Prize.
    • The Promoter makes no representation as to safety, conditions and other issues that may exist at any destination. International travel advice can be obtained from various sources, including government, local consular offices and the web site of the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. The winner accepts the Prize at their own risk. 
    • All travel is subject to the terms, conditions and restrictions of the Prize service providers. Any travelling companion included in the Prize accepts the Prize subject to these terms, conditions and restrictions as if references to the Winner in the relevant clauses were to the travelling companion. The Winner and their travelling companion must sign a legal release, in a form acceptable to the Promoter in its absolute discretion, if requested by the Promoter. 

 

Prize Draw

  • “Winner” is defined as the person whose name is drawn in the Main Prize draw and Secondary Prize draws held on Monday 9th June 2025 (Prize Draw) or on Wednesday 18th June 2025 (Unclaimed Prize Draw). 
  • Each Winner will be drawn by the Promoter on Monday 9th June 2025 by random draw from all valid entries. The first valid entry drawn will win a   Prize. Any entries that are deemed invalid will not be eligible to win a Prize. 
  • Trade Accounts may only win one Prize. If the same Trade Account is drawn for more than one Prize, the second or subsequent Prize will be redrawn.  
  • Each Winner will be notified by phone or email address recorded on their Mitre 10 Trade Account within two (2) days of the Prize Draw. If a Winner cannot be contacted after reasonable attempts within seven (7) days from the prize draw date, that Winner will forfeit the prize, and another prize winner will be drawn.
  • The Promoter is not responsible for any notification that is misdirected, lost or damaged, or if the Winner cannot be contacted due to incorrect details being provided on the Winner’s Mitre 10 Trade Account.
  • The Winner will be notified as per paragraph 14 above and the Winner must respond by Monday 16th June 2025, or the prize will be forfeited and another Winner drawn.
  • If a Prize remains unclaimed by Tuesday 17th June 2025, the Promoter may conduct an Unclaimed Prize Draw on Wednesday 18th June 2025 in order to award the Prize (“Unclaimed Prize Draw”). The new Winner will be contacted using their Mitre 10 Trade Account details within two (2) days] of the Unclaimed Prize Draw. The new Winner will be subject to the same terms and conditions of this competition. The Promoter reserves the right to forfeit any prize if said unclaimed prize has not been claimed by Thursday 27th June 2025. 

 

General Terms

  • Accepting a Prize is deemed to be consent for the Promoter to use the Winner’s name, town/city and photograph for reasonable publicity, promotional purposes if required, and marketing material, in any form of media, without payment or any other compensation.
  • The Promoter collects and uses personal information in order to conduct the Promotion. The Promoter will disclose this information to third parties only for the purpose of this Promotion, and otherwise only in accordance with its Privacy Policy (mitre10.co.nz/privacy).
  • The Promoter reserves the right to suspend the promotion, amend the Promotion terms or withdraw the promotion at any time.
  • The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entry where an entrant has behaved in a fraudulent or dishonest manner or otherwise than in accordance with these terms and conditions or the spirit of the promotion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
  • The Promoter’s decisions on all matters related to the Promotion are final and correspondence will not be entered into.
  • Unless the Promoter determines otherwise, this promotion is not valid in conjunction with any other promotion that the Promoter may be running concurrently.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter and its related companies, employees and agents, shall not be liable in any way (whether in contract, negligence or otherwise) for any loss, damage, personal injury or cost (including but not limited to indirect and consequential loss) suffered by any person arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with entering this promotion or accepting a Prize.
  • The Winner will be responsible for any tax implications that may arise as a result of winning the Prize.

PRIZE DRAW TERMS & CONDITIONS:

Promotional Period

  • Promotion opens at 11:59am Tuesday, 01 April 2025 and ends at 11:59pm Saturday, 31 May 2025 (“Promotional Period”). Any additional entries received are ineligible.
  • The Promoter is Mitre 10 (New Zealand) Limited, 67 Corinthian Drive, Albany, Auckland 0632 (“Promoter”).

Entry and qualification for the Prize Draw

  • To enter the draw, Mitre 10 Trade Customers must purchase (on their Trade Account) these specific products: Sikaflex®-11 FC Purform (all colours and variants) and/or Sikaflex®-118 Extreme Grab during the Promotional Period. One entry per valid transaction.
  • One entry is given per valid transaction of Sikaflex®-11 FC Purform and/or Sikaflex®118 Extreme Grab during the Promotional Period. 
  • Promotion is only available to New Zealand residents who are Mitre 10 Trade Account Holders at participating stores.
  • Entry into this promotion is deemed as acceptance of these terms & conditions.  
  • Should your Mitre 10 Trade Account be put on stop credit during the Promotional Period, or at any time prior to the Prize being claimed in full, the Prize will be forfeited. Promoter’s discretion applies.

 

Prize

  • All entries go into the draw to win one brand-new Sika® Trade Gun PRO per Mitre 10 store. (There are eighty-four (84) Sika® Trade Gun PRO prizes to give away). Valued at RRP $59.89 inc. GST. 84 winners in total. (“Prize”) 
  • Prize does not include any other product or accessories. 
  • There are eighty-four (84) Prizes to be won. 
  • In the event that some or all of the Prize is unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize at its discretion with an item of equal or great value, if all or part of the Prize is unavailable.
  • The colour of the Prize may vary from one shown on any promotional material and is at the discretion of the Promoter.
  • Insurance of the Prize needs to be arranged by the Winner.

 

Prize Draw

  • The prize draw will take place at the Promoter’s offices on Friday, 20 September 2024 at 02:00pm.  
  • The Winner will be notified by phone or email address recorded on the Trade Account within by Monday, 23 September 2024 of the prize draw. If a Winner cannot be contacted after reasonable attempts within seven (7) days from the prize draw date, that Winner will forfeit the prize and another prize winner will be drawn.
  • The Promoter is not responsible for any notification that is misdirected, lost or damaged, or if the Winner cannot be contacted due to incorrect details being provided on the Winner’s Trade Account.
  • Prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash, nor can it be exchanged for any other product or service.
