Trade Quarterly, Trade Hub Promotion

SPECIFIC TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

  1. Entrants must place a product order on the Trade Hub (for delivery or collect in store), with any Participating Stores, to be in to win a Prize. 
  2. Participating Stores: select Mitre 10 and Mitre 10 MEGA stores nationwide.
  3. The promotion commences on 1st March 2017 and ends 30th April 2017 ("Promotion Period"). Entrants have until 7pm on 30th April 2017 to place an order on the Trade Hub to be eligible to enter the promotion.  Orders placed on the Trade Hub after this date are invalid.
  4. The Promoter is Mitre 10 (New Zealand) Limited. 
  5. Entrants must be:
    Mitre 10 Trade Account Holder, and;
    Registered Members of the Trade Hub.
  6. How to enter: 
    During the Promotional Period, Entrants must place an order of any value on the Trade Hub, with their nominated Participating Store. 
    Once the Participating Store has receipted the Order, Entrants will be in the draw to win.
  7. 1 ENTRY PER 1 TRADE ACCOUNT: Only 1 chance to enter the Promotion on your Trade Account.
  8. Ensure that you retain your receipt or trade invoice as proof of purchase to verify your entry.  Loss will result in the ineligibility to claim the prize.
  9. Prize draw: 
    A random prize draw will be conducted at the offices of the Promoter by a representative of the Promoter on Friday, 5th May 2017. 
    The first two (2) valid Entrants drawn shall win the Prize.
  10. The winners will be notified by phone and/or email, per details provided on their Trade Account.  
  11. If the winner is unable to be contacted by phone or email  by 10th May 2017, a new winner will be drawn on Friday, 12th May 2017. The new winner will be subject to the same terms and conditions herein. 
  12. The Promoter’s decision is final and no further correspondences will be entered into. 
  13. Prize:
    Apple iPad Pro. One (1) Prize each up for grabs for Two (2) lucky winners respectively. 

 

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:

  1. Information on how to enter and the prize details form part of these Terms and Conditions of Entry.  Participation in this Promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. 
  2. Floor stock only – no phone orders, lay-bys, or rain-checks. 
  3. This Promotion is only open to Entrants being individuals who are: (i) residents of New Zealand; (ii) not employees of the Promoter and the Prize Sponsor, (iii) are not a spouse, defacto partner, parent, child or sibling (whether natural or by adoption) and as such of the employees of the Promoter and the Prize Sponsor and (iv) are not professionally connected with the Promotion. 
  4. By entering this promotion, Entrants agree to the use of their name and photograph for promotional/advertising purposes.  The ensuing copyright will vest with the Promoter, without any claim to compensation from the Entrants.
  5. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including, but not limited to, prize suppliers and as required, to regulatory authorities. 
  6. The Entrant consents to the storage of their personal information on the Promoter’s database for purposes of this competition. 
  7. If the Entrant consents to being contacted by the Promoter, the Promoter may use the personal information provided to contact the Entrant for future promotional and marketing purposes including contacting the Entrant via electronic messaging.
  8. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of claims (including an Entrant's identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any Entrants who enters this competition, not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions of Entry or who tampers with any part of this competition. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
  9. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible claims will be deemed invalid.
  10. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  11. Neither the Promoter nor the Prize Sponsor shall be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for death or any personal injury suffered or sustained as consequence of participation in the promotion or as a consequence of the use and application of the Prize. 
  12. The Prize or any unused portion of the Prize, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
  13. All expenses incurred as part of the prize is the responsibility of the winner.
  14. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter and the Prize Sponsor (including their respective officers, directors, shareholders, employees, advisors, assignees, agents, licensees, representatives, advertising and promotional agencies) exclude all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity), whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where attributable to any of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter's control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions of Entry; (e) any tax liability incurred by a claimant or Entrant; or (f) use of a prize.
  15. All entries remain the property of the Promoter. The Promoter collects Entrants' personal information in order to conduct the Promotion.
  16. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend this Promotion at any time before the end of the promotion period at its sole discretion without assigning any reason whatsoever or being liable to any person or Entrants.
  17. The Promoter reserves the right to amend or modify these Terms and Conditions of Entry at any time and from time to time.


General Terms & Conditions

  1. Information on how to participate and the Prize or Claim details (as appropriate for the relevant competition/promotion) details form part of these Terms and Conditions of Entry.  Participation in a Promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions, which may vary from time to time.
  2. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible claims will be deemed invalid - APPLIES TO PRIZE DRAW ONLY.
  3. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  4. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage resulting as consequence of participation in the promotion or as a consequence of the use and enjoyment of the prize or claim.
  5. Any unclaimed or unused portion of a Prize or Claim, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash - APPLIES TO PRIZE DRAW ONLY.
  6. If the Prize or Claim is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the Prize or Claim (or that part of the Prize or Claim) with a Prize or Claim equivalent or greater in value to the Prize or Claim offered.
  7. Winners will be contacted via email and/or telephone by the Promoter – APPLIES TO PRIZE DRAW ONLY.  Any incorrect/incomplete information provided may result in the winner or claimant not receiving the Prize or Claim. The Promoter claims no liability for failure to allocate a Prize or Claim due to incorrect/incomplete details.
  8. If the prize is declined or unclaimed by a winner, or if a winner cannot be contacted using the details supplied in his or her application form within 5 business days of notification, replacement winner(s) may be selected at the Promoter’s discretion. The unclaimed original winning entry will then be forfeited - APPLIES TO PRIZE DRAW ONLY.
  9. Each entrant or claimant must spend the required amount on a single invoice that must include the relevant promotional product. Failure to comply with this requirement will result in the entrant being disqualified from the competition.
  10. By entering this promotion, entrants/claimants agree to the use of their name and photograph for promotional/advertising purposes.  The ensuing copyright will vest with the Promoter, without any claim to compensation from the entrants.
  11. The Promotion is only open to eligible “Entrants/Claimants”, being individuals who are Mitre 10 trade account holders only.
  12. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of the claim for the prizes i.e. the type of product purchased as well as validity of the entrants (including an entrant's identity, and place of residence) and to disqualify any claimant who submits a redemption that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions of Entry or who tampers with the redemption process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of these rights.
  13. All other expenses incurred with any part of the Prize or Claim is the responsibility of the winner.
  14.   16. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the Promotion due to events arising beyond its control without any ensuing liability.
  17. The Promoter is not responsible for any third party acts or omissions in relation to this promotion.
  18. The Promoter reserves the right to amend or modify these Terms and Conditions of Entry at any time and from time to time.
