We love this fire and have found it to be very warm and efficient at heating our 160sqm home. I read another review that talked about it being noisy but I have not found it noisy at all. Good radiant heat considering it is a convection fire. Fits large pieces of wood and you can stack heaps in. The only thing to be aware of is the specifications require an 8mm ceramic hearth. We made the hearth ourselves using a four pack of 500x500 tiles. This has turned out to look really nice.

Have had this fire in our home for three years and love it! House is 3YO, 174 sq metre, double glazed. This is our only source of heating and we have been warm and cozy every winter. As always, the timber you burn makes a huge difference and we only ever use bluegum. Only minor down-side is that it doesn't close down far enough to allow a large log to still be burning in the morning. Our previous fire could do that.

Noisey. Heat output less than expected
We have had the coldest days of winter and at full heat I'm cold in the lounge during the day. I burn a mixture of seasoned dry om pine and gum. Our house is a fully insulated single glazed twenty year old. The old 18kw masport would heat this space easily. So I'm not impressed but the cost was a deal maker. It is also noisey as it draws in air to the point of being annoying. It looks ok and the install was easy enough.
