Rated 4 out of 5 by from Long Hose Works well, if wallpaper is prewetted with a detergent the steamer makes it fall off

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to set up and use I bought this to start our bed room redecoration project over lockdown. It was easy to use and set up and did exactly what it said on the box. Bear in mind this is an entry level product, my wife used it to strip the wallpaper in a bed room. It tended to split the paper into two layers, paper and glue, so frustrated her having to go over the same area twice. It did a reasonable job but the room did become quite warm and steamy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Compact wallpaper steamer I have been trying to remove 70 year old wallpaper with no success. I don’t know what they glued it up with but it wasn’t coming off with a scraper. None of my friends had a steamer and I was able to purchase this one during the lockdown period. Plugged it in as soon as I got home and the wallpaper came off so easy. It’s a great product, I highly recommend to anyone to buy one as I have a houseful off paper to strip and I couldn’t do it without this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rapid wallpaper removing I started with soaking the wall with weed spray bottle, it worked OK. But you have to wait for the wall to soak through etc etc etc, and it wouldn't take multiple layers out if you found some hidden surprise. Using this streamer it gets the job done in a tenth of the time as it would other ways. High recommended. Reasonably priced good quality products. Will not do wallpaper removing any other ways

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So much easier When you start taking wallpaper off you think it will be a easy job, you start with just hot water and a paint scraper, you will probably spend ages trying to get that last bit of backing paper off, we spent over 3hours trying to get backing paper off, NOT ANY MORE this is extremely worth it, for $150 you get many hours of your life back, highly recommend

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Makes life easier I bought this steamer about a month ago, as I was stripping the wallpaper in the lounge and finding it really hard going. The steamer definitely made things easier and sped up the process. I have just on concern and that is the plug, which keeps slipping and the machine turns off. There is a spring plug cover that rests on the plug when the machine plugged in and I think the weight of it is pushing the plug out.
