Frost mounted stone sets include a variety of popular shapes and grits for general purpose use.
Blue: 120 grit hard stones which hold their shape exceptionally well and are recommended for use on hardened steel. Aluminum Oxide with Cobalt added to provide lubrication while grinding. Cut well and leave a smooth surface. Pink: These versatile stones work on a variety of steels and alloys where a sharp cutting action is required. Besides the advantages of being friable and cool cutting, Pink Mounted Stones exhibit markedly better form holding characteristics, making them exceptionally durable, while giving the sharp cut that is needed. White: White Aluminum Oxide Mounted Stones are the ideal abrasives for the removal of metal, perfect for carving in woodwork and as an abrasive when glass engraving or for carving in stone or ceramic. 300grit for use to pre-polish, carve, smooth and perfect the surfaces of all your metal, glass, ceramic, stone and woodwork.

Clearance items or products purchased during Clearance events in our stores, cannot be returned or exchanged.
It’s always easiest to return your product to the store you got it from, but you can return it to any Mitre 10 store. If you prefer to courier your product back to us, just check your invoice to see which store dispatched your order and that’s where you send it back to.
We will refund to your original payment method where possible or, if you prefer, we can issue you a Mitre 10 Gift Card for the sum equal to the cost of the product excluding handling and any delivery or returns costs.
If you return products which were purchased in full or part using Airpoints Dollars™ and choose to have your purchase refunded, we’ll refund you in the same proportion of Airpoints Dollars™ and other payment types that were used for the original payment.
Faulty Goods
If a problem occurs with a product purchased from Mitre 10, bring it back to us with your proof of purchase. We will either repair, replace or provide you with a refund, as set out in the Consumer Guarantees Act.
