- Orders under 25kg will cost $7.50
- Larger orders will cost $7.50 plus a surcharge may apply^
- Orders under 25kg will cost $12.50
- Larger orders will cost $12.50 plus a surcharge may apply^
* Rural delivery addresses are as defined by New Zealand Post address data.
^ For large orders a surcharge may apply because of size, weight or special handling - this is required to make sure your order reaches you safely. Alternatively the store may contact you to make other delivery arrangements.

No Hassle Returns
We are happy to exchange or refund any unopened and unused, non-customised items returned to us in their original condition and packaging, including all accessories and the invoice or delivery docket, within 28 days. Customised products, which include products cut, made-to-measure, special order or mixed to specific requirements, cannot be refunded or exchanged.
It’s always easiest to return your product to the store you got it from, but you can return it to any Mitre 10 store. If you prefer to courier your product back to us, just check your invoice to see which store dispatched your order and that’s where you send it back to.
We will refund to your original payment method where possible or, if you prefer, we can issue you a Mitre 10 gift card for the sum equal to the cost of the product excluding handling and any delivery or returns costs.
If a problem occurs with a product purchased from Mitre 10 please contact us. We will arrange for it to be repaired or replaced, or provide a refund as specified by the Consumer Guarantees Act.

Happy with the rug, but not the online experience!
Our experience in purchasing something online with Mitre10 was sadly one of the most ardous and frustrating experiences we've had!! We wanted to obviously see the colour of the rug (in the flesh!) so took the round trip of 92km from our home to the store on the other side of Auckland to view the rug that according to the website, was available instore. After much searching and faffing about by staff, they said they couldn't find it, even though they were supposed to have one instore! So we were advised to just purchase it online since it came up as available in that store. Although that was a bit of a risk as we had not seen it, we decided we had no choice! Once purchased and paid for, we received a call the next day from Mitre10 customer service to say it was a 'dropped line' item and we couldn't buy it!!
We explained that on the Mitre 10 website, it stated clearly that this store, and about 13 others around NZ had this particular rug! The girl explained that another store that had it would probably not be willing to send a rug to them, as it would cost the other store to do so?!?! She said that because each store was owned independently it was difficult to transfer goods?!?! We found this very unusual and to be honest, absolutely shocking customer service! It was NOT a good look to tell customers all this 'political' nonsense! The rug is shown online as being available, but it wasn't?! Obviously we were not happy with this response, so the girl (a bit reluctantly, we thought considering the inconvenience this was to US!) said she would find out from the flooring people what they could do! When she phoned back a couple of days later she said 'yes' the flooring people said they COULD get it in from the supplier and that it would be instore in a few days!!!!! So we did our repeat 92km trip out to the store to collect it ourselves! (There was not even an offer of delivery for the hassle they had put us through!) What a drama! We certainly won't be in a hurry to purchase anything online with Mitre10 again in the future! They definitely need to improve their customer service significantly and the dreadfully inefficient way the stores interact together!! Shame on you, Mitre10!! :(
