This attractive flowering shrub is well known for its masses of free flowing blooms in a vibrant range of reds, pinks, whites, purples and two tone varieties. Flowers from autumn into winter before producing a stunning burst of colour in the spring, complemented by glossy green foliage all year round.
The fine fibrous root system should be kept moist for best results.
Performs best in freely drained soil.
Plant away from strong wind and harsh afternoon sun.
General plant care is minimal, mulch around roots in summer to avoid drying out. Light pruning after flowering and a general-purpose high nitrogen fertilizer is recommended. General purpose insecticide may be used from late spring through to late summer.
