Rated 2 out of 5 by from Problem with pull cord I have bought several of these for rental properties and each one has ended up with a frayed pull cord which needs difficult replacement so whole fan needs replacing though fan is working fine. Another 50 bucks gone!!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from OK but.. I had this heater installed a few years ago and it worked fine for a few years before becoming progressively noisier. It is now so noisy that I`m off to get a replacement. The good thing is they are cheap and I can just switch the new one for the old one very easily because of the slide on fitting.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good value Bought this model for $53 a year ago. At that price I may buy another one as a quick replacement when or if this one packs up, in case the clip-mounting system is discontinued. Rattly bearing noise on startup but runs smooth after a minute. Have an earlier model Goldair fan heater in another bathroom which I installed 24 years ago - still runs smoother and quieter than the newer model.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Another one bites the dust Bought this to replace the one that blew up after 3 years only. There arn't many bathroom heaters to choose from and to pay $200 bucks for a heater that should be $20 bucks is insane. So I bought the same one as it clipped into the existing fittings.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from you need to have an electrician wire this in anyway. You are not meant to DIY bathroom heaters or use plug in ones. They need to be permanently wired

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I've had this model in my bathroom for the last 9 years. The first one I had to replace after 18 months when the on/off switch broke and wasn't worth repairing. The replacement heater has lasted over 7 years and has just burnt out today. The safety cut out obviously works:) The pull cord started to fray this year, but I had a wall switch installed (recommended) when the first heater was put in by an electrician. This heater is great value for money, it has kept the bathroom cosy and dry. I'm off to by another one now as it will just slot into the existing wall mount.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not For Me I purchased this a couple of weeks ago and I wouldn't recommend it unless it's to replace a now redundant, exactly similar one. You are otherwise advised to have a registered electrician install the combined hanging bracket/electric socket into which the heater itself has to be plugged in. The subsequent attachment of the heater to the backplate/hanging bracket was far too fiddly and hit and miss to me and it was obviously very easy to break off important bits of the weak plastic or bend the electrical contacts out of shape without knowing while doing so; making you wonder why it wouldn't work. I discarded the Goldair heater in the end and purchased a lot more expensive "Weiss" model which comes already wired with a normal plug on the end, and with a much easier hanging bracket to attach the heater too.
