The X440 Best for Wood and Paint removes material at an excellent rate when sanding old paint, varnish or wooden surfaces. Its tough semi-friable aluminium oxide abrasive grain provides high-performance sanding. In addition, the backing material is made of robust x-cloth with a high-quality belt joint for strength in extensive work. Furthermore, its grit features an electrostatic open-coated surface, providing consistent dust removal for continuous sanding. This product is intended for the sanding wooden and coated surfaces, and is suitable for smoothing out feather edges. It is also ideal for flush sanding rebates and edges. The X440 Best for Wood and Paint sanding belt is compatible with power files. The grit is bonded using fully synthetic resin for wear resistance in heavy-duty applications.

It’s always easiest to return your product to the store you got it from, but you can return it to any Mitre 10 store. If you prefer to courier your product back to us, just check your invoice to see which store dispatched your order and that’s where you send it back to.
We will refund to your original payment method where possible or, if you prefer, we can issue you a Mitre 10 Gift Card for the sum equal to the cost of the product excluding handling and any delivery or returns costs.
If you return products which were purchased in full or part using Airpoints Dollars™ and choose to have your purchase refunded, we’ll refund you in the same proportion of Airpoints Dollars™ and other payment types that were used for the original payment.
Faulty Goods
If a problem occurs with a product purchased from Mitre 10, bring it back to us with your proof of purchase. We will either repair, replace or provide you with a refund, as set out in the Consumer Guarantees Act.
