Building a career with us
A career in retail provides huge opportunity. It’s one industry where you can start off at the bottom and one day be running a store. Or you could start within our Support Centre straight from university and one day be responsible for a multi-million dollar product portfolio – the opportunities are huge! As the country’s biggest home improvement retailer, a career with us offers many diverse directions.
You can work in many different areas: customer service, garden, merchandise, inwards goods, purchasing, global sourcing, marketing, retail operations, trade, finance, legal, store development, property, IT and human resources.
We are committed to your development and enhancing your career opportunities within Mitre 10. We value our people and have structured performance management and training programmes in place to help our team members realise their potential.
Through our own in-house, professionally developed Learning Centre we offer courses on product knowledge, customer service and personal development. We also provide access to nationally recognised supervisory, management and retail certifications and Building and Construction Industry Training Organisation (BCITO) qualifications.
