How Do I Pay?
Payment is to be made in New Zealand dollars and is by credit card only.
Accepted credit cards are: Visa, MasterCard and American Express.

If Mitre 10 is unable to deliver any items, your card will be credited with the full cost and delivery charge for that item debited when the order was placed.

Prices may increase or decrease from time to time. Prices may vary from website to stores. In the building and gardening industries, there are a variety of products that are sourced by stores from local suppliers at different cost structures. Nationally sourced products may also be subject to different cost of delivery in different locations.
Can I Pay By Account?
You are not able to make payments in installments or via an account that you hold with a Mitre 10 store. As Mitre 10 is a co-operative each of our member businesses is a separate legal entity.
Contact Regarding Payment and Delivery Details
Mitre 10 will contact the purchaser of an order to confirm the validity of delivery details supplied if necessary and we will also carry out random security checks.
Mitre 10 reserves the right to cancel and refund any order that appears to be fraudulent.
Is It Safe To Buy Online With My Credit Card?

When you use your credit card on our website, we do not save that information - it is passed directly to the bank through a secure server that uses 128 bit Secure Sockets Layer software (SSL) to encrypt the information that you enter. This technology is designed to prevent any unauthorised viewing and downloading of your order information.
We also use the security number on your credit card to ensure the person shopping is in possession of the correct card.
Security Code
The CSC (Card Security Code) is a 3 or 4 digit number that appears on your credit card, but is not part of your credit card number. The CSC is also known as the Card Verification Code (CVC) by Visa, Card Validation Code (CVV) by MasterCard, or Card Identification Number (CID) by American Express. The CSC is an extra security feature of your credit card. It is not contained in the magnetic stripe information, nor does it appear on sales receipts or billing statements – you must have the card in your possession in order to use this code. Card security codes are not raised (they are only printed), so they are not scanned into standard credit card readers. In theory, these numbers are only visible to you. When you give your card security code to a merchant, you assist the merchant in verifying that the order is being placed by you, the card holder.
Visa/Master Card
In the signature box on the back of your card you should see a 16-digit credit card number followed by a special 3 digit code that is non-embossed. This 3 digit code is your CSC. In some cases you may see the last 4 digits of your card number with the additional 3 digit security code following.
American Express
The card security code for your American Express card is a four-digit card identification number located on the front of your credit card, to the right of, and above your main credit card number.
Diners Club
On the back of the Diners Club Card there is a 3 digit code that can be seen next to the member’s number. This 3 digit code is the Card Security Code.
