Why Insulate?
Insulating your home is the single most effective thing you can do to keep your home warm and to save energy and money. A well insulated home provides year-round comfort; it is cooler in summer, warmer in winter. And a warmer home, is a drier, healthier home. World Health Organisation research shows that if a home’s temperature is constantly below 18 degrees, people in it are much more at risk of colds and respiratory illness such as bronchitis and asthma.

Ceiling Insulation:
In an uninsulated house, more heat is lost through the ceiling and roof than any other part of the house, making the ceiling top priority for insulation.
This has got to be your top piority! Even if you already have some insulation in the ceiling, it is probably not enough through the new standards, so topping up with another layer of Pink® Batts® insulation could just be the answer.
Underfloor Insulation:
Around 10% of heat is typically lost through the floor. A well installed layer of underfloor insulation will help to prevent the cold draughts from penetrating in to the house through gaps throug floorboards.
